In a spectacular event held in Kigali, Rwanda, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) President, Dr. Patrice Motsepe, presented the CAF President’s Outstanding Achievement Award 2022 to two African leaders – His Excellency President Paul Kagame of Rwanda and His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including FIFA President Gianni Infantino, representatives from the football federations of the 54 CAF Member Associations, and CAF Executive Committee members.
A host of legendary football players from across Africa also attended the event, including Ghana’s Asamoah Gyan, South Africa’s Lucas Radebe, and Nigeria’s Perpetua Nkwocha.
President Kagame and King Mohammed VI were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the development of football in Africa.
