US based Gambian Taekwondo sparring athlete Alasana Ann together with his coach, is headed to Dubai for the Fujairah Open Tournament.
The tournament said to be the 1st in the year, will have the young champ prepared for the 2022 African championship.
Ann, who is set to compete on February 7th in the level 2 or G2 weight category, believes this competition is worth more ranking points than the traditional level 1 or G1. “This tournament will be the start of growing my rankings towards the Olympic” he said.
