The Uganda Netball Federation President Sarah Kityo Babirye and her Executives have suspended three Executive members from all Netball related activities indefinitely.
The development was confirmed in a document from the office of the Acting Publicity Secretary Olivia Nakate.
“This communication therefore serves to inform the general public that Mande Aminah who was the General Secretary and Richard Muhumuza who was the Vice President Technical have been banned from participating in any Netball activity, representing Uganda Netball Federation and acting on behalf of any Netball activity of Uganda.”
“The two were banned from Netball activities on abuse of office and violation of the Constitution of the Uganda Netball Federation.” Stated the dossier.

Harriet Apolot replaces Mande Aminah as the interim General Secretary while Mutyaba Rosette Kaala is now the acting Vice President Technical replacing Margarete Muhumuza.
It is believed that the suspended officers took the Uganda National Netball Association Executives to the Uganda Court of laws, contrary to the Uganda Netball constitution.
Meanwhile, Ssengabi Yahaya who was the Publicity Secretary is replaced by Olivia Nakate as the acting Publicity Secretary, pending the approval from the General Assembly Yahaya Ssengabi remains on suspension for gross misconduct.
The duo, Mande and Muhumuza through their lawyers Kavuma and Kabenge Advocates have in a letter dated 5th January 2022 accused the UNF President Sarah Babirye of mismanagement and conflict of interest in running the Federation.
The suspension take immediate effect and so are the appointments, the pending ban will depend on what will transpire in the Annual General Assembly next month
